DIRECTIONS TO ULUNDI
FROM DURBAN
From the N2 after Stanger take the Dokodweni Off ramp that puts you on the R34 that takes you past Melmoth on towards Vryheid. 25km past Melmoth turn right to Ulundi on the R66.
After crossing the White Umfolozi River and passing the Shell Garage on your right take the turnoff to your right ( P700 ) signposted to the Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi Airport / Umfolozi Game Reserve. You will pass the airport on your right and then the Ulundi Battle Memorial on your left. Approximately 5km further on you will find the Ondini Cultural Museum's entrance on your left. We are in the grounds of the Museum.
FROM JOHANNESBURG
After reaching Vryheid, take the R34 signposted for Richards Bay. 100km from Vryheid turn left to Ulundi on the R66 and follow the directions as above.
BY BUS
- BAZ BUS Departs from Durban to Swaziland every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our nearest stop is Eshowe where arrangements can be made to pick you up at the George Hotel.
